White Duck Taco

With tacos like the Thai Peanut Chicken and the Bangkok Shrimp, White Duck Taco is not your average taco joint. Fun sides like fresh watermelon with mint and housemate kimchi make for a delicious and unique way to fuel up after a day on the river.

Luella’s BBQ

Carolina-style BBQ at its finest!  Luella’s BBQ takes its cues from scratch-made family recipes and unique southern sides. Scrolling through the menu will make your mouth water. Also, who doesn’t love a good hushpuppy?

With a strong local following, Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack specializes in Nashville-style hot chicken and southern sides. Not into heat?  Their honey-mild chicken will win you over.  Don’t forget to split a piece of their Coca-Cola cake!

Looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience complete with chips, salsa and margaritas?  Papa’s & Beers is a staple among many locals, offering all the traditional favorites, with some unique takes like the Mexican Burger.  Come hungry, portions are huge!

Biscuit Head

Nothing says southern like fried green tomatoes and buttermilk biscuits.  So why not have them together? Biscuit Head sources locally to bring their unique, biscuit-centric menu for a delicious and filing breakfast before an afternoon on the river.  Our personal favorite? The Fried Green Tomato Biscuit with a tasty tomato hollandaise.  Don’t forget the grits!

Chai Pani

Chai Pani specializes in casual Indian street snacks like savory crepes, wraps and traditional meals. It’s a culinary treat in a casual setting.  Kale Pakoras, Tomato& Cheese Uttapam and Butter Chicken…..oh my!  This is a great place to get a little bit of everything and share.

Asheville Pizza and Brewing

Asheville Pizza and Brewing has long been a family friendly joint here in Asheville, complete with an arcade and movie theatre.  Take a seat and enjoy a $3 movie while eating from their full menu, including local beer!  (Movie and arcade are at the Merrimon location)

The Hop Ice Cream Cafe

Hot days require a proper cool down at The Hop Ice Cream Cafe. Locally owned and operated, The Hop offers a little something for everyone including ice cream cones, shakes, sundaes and cakes.  Vegan?  No problem!  They offer 8 delicious vegan scoops to choose from!  So get to screaming for that ice cream at The Hop!

Vortex Donuts (and Coffee)

There never seems to be bad time to have a donut, right?  Vortex Doughnuts serves traditional flavors, along with flavors like Espresso and Mocha Creme Filled, allowing you to have your coffee and eat it too.  They have vegan offerings and a full espresso bar to get your juices flowing to float down the river.
