Where Do We Go?
We’ll travel down the French Broad River through the River Arts District of Asheville.
Where Do We Start and End?
To start your cruise, you’ll meet at 608 Riverside Drive, Asheville. From there you’ll be shuttled to the river, where you will board the boat and wind your way down the French Broad River and through the River Arts District. When your journey is complete, you’ll be returned to 608 Riverside Drive by shuttle.
How Many People Can Go?
We require a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 12. We require reservations for an entire group to be made at once. We unfortunately cannot mix and match groups to get to make a group of 6 or more.
What is the Minimum Age Allowed?
For safety reasons, four-years-old is the youngest age we can allow. This is for your child’s own protection and is a requirement of our insurance.
How Long is the Tour?
The boat ride itself is approximately 3 hours. Please allow an additional 15 minutes for check-in.
Are Reservations Required?
Yes. We need advance notice to ensure the boat is ready for a great cruise experience. Reservations can be made by booking online, or by calling 833-783-5628. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
When Should I Arrive?
Please make sure you arrive 15 minutes before your departure time, and make sure each member of your party has filled out the Waiver.
What Should I Bring?
Directions, Footwear Required (flip flops, Crocs, Tevas, sandals, old sneakers, etc.), Sunscreen / Sunglasses, Visors / Hats, Waterproof Camera, and a Chill Attitude! If you forget to bring anything, we offer many items at our store.
Do You Have Lockers?
We offer lockers for guests who Uber or shuttle to our location. If you plan on driving to us, your vehicle is your locker. We will hold your keys for you in a safe, dry, and secure place so that the river doesn’t eat them (the river loves cell phones – please leave them in your car).
Are There Bathrooms?
There are no bathrooms on the boat, but there are several bathrooms located along the route. Just tell your guide you need to use a restroom and you’ll be taken to the next upcoming bathroom.
Will I Get Wet?
Both the boat and passengers sit above the water and during your ride there is no reason to get wet. However, bathrooms are located along the route. The boats do not have the ability to dock fully on the bank, so a few steps in the water may be required to access the facilities.
Are Shoes Required?
Yes, some sort of footwear is required. We recommend something made for water or that you won’t be worried about getting wet! Sandals, flip flops, water shoes, Tevas, Crocs, old sneakers, etc.
What Should I Wear?
You should wear your bathing suit or shorts, basically anything you are comfortable getting wet in. Footwear is required (flip flops, sandals, old sneakers, etc.) You will be on the water for two or more hours, so we also recommend that you bring sunscreen and something to drink.
What Should I NOT Bring?
Don’t bring anything on the river you don’t want to lose or that can’t get wet! If you drop it in the river, it’s most likely gone forever. This includes cell phones, electronics, jewelry, wallets, keys, etc. We’re not responsible for any items lost or damaged that you bring on the river.
Are Life Jackets Required?
Life Jackets will be on the boat for each passenger. Anyone 13 years or younger will be required to wear their life jacket while on the boat.
Can I Bring a Cooler?
Yes. Coolers are welcome. Bring your own cooler (we don’t supply them) filled with your favorite adult beverages, snacks, etc. Adult beverages are allowed.
Can I Bring My Dog?
Sorry, no. For the safety of pets and other floaters, no dogs are allowed.
What is the Weather Policy?
During our season, we are open rain or shine, seven days a week. We always post weather updates on our Facebook page, so check often, and call us if you have any questions. If weather or river levels force us to close, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund without penalty.
What is the Cancellation Policy?

Customers will also receive a refund of purchased ticket or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If you cancel your trip inside of 7 days you will be charged 50% of the canceled reservation. You may rebook or receive a credit without a penalty. No-shows or same day cancellations will NOT receive a refund.
